Not only has Lachicotte...taken care of all the details, cleaning and maintenance, they were able to rent it for a large portion of the year. Thank you for another great week at the beach! Our family had an absolute blast. We loved Cathcart, and were disappointed when we heard that we wouldn't be able to stay there again next year. However, that disappointment was short-lived when we found out that our 2012 Pawleys home will be Sherman! All of us stayed in the house for many years when it was the Al-Me-Gee, and it's one of our favorites. The only sad news is that we'll have to wait 51 weeks to get there. In the meantime, thanks again for everything you do to make our annual trip to Pawleys as fun and relaxing as it possibly can be. All of the folks at Lachicotte are awesome! Thanks again. - Bob

This is, I believe, the 8th time in 10 years that we have vacationed at Pawleys, and 6 of those times we have stayed at one of the (Lachicotte Rental) houses. Its a great place...a great porch on both the front and back of the house as well as the creek dock shared between the two houses...We intend to keep coming back every year. It has been a great experience - particularly for our kids growing up and looking forward to the trip every year - it is a tradition that one of our group, now in his late forties, has done since he was a child, and I love the idea that our kids will have that same tradition as part of their lives. - Adrian

Thankful that we had been recommended such a great house at a great rate, we didn't get worked up over a few, relatively minor issues. We tuned in to the sunrise/set, conversation, games, and falling asleep to crashing waves...we appreciated the sea breeze off the ocean that kept any bugs at bay! Wildlife was the perfect beach getaway...between two jetties...we had an amazing amount of privacy and freedom...natural boundaries for (our young children). Literally just steps to the beach. The (porch) hammock...was a hot commodity...the deck was perfect for star gazing and searching for shooting stars! We used the linen service for a minimal fee. We have come to Pawleys and Litchfield for many years - since I was a little girl - but due to the present economy, we had considered not coming this year until we found your rates for the first week of June.
