Louise Lachicotte President & Broker in Charge
Louise "Lou" Lachicotte joined The Lachicotte Company as their president and broker in charge in 2008. She is a native of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Ms. Lachicotte brings twenty three years' experience to the firm ranging from ground-up administrative leadership in management through rentals at Wachesaw to real estate related businesses as an exclusive top producer in luxury real estate sales in the Pawleys Island area as well as ten years' experience in banking, with an emphasis in mortgage and consumer lending. Along with her extensive knowledge of the area through her lifetime experience, Ms. Lachicotte also contributes her expansive network developed through her business and personal relationships in the Pawleys Island area.
Sharing her family's values of giving back to her community, Lou currently serves on the boards of Teach My People, which serves the "at-risk" youth of the Waccamaw Neck area; Ariel / A Ministry of Proclamation; Friends of Brookgreen Gardens, and the Clemson University Humanities Advancement Board. In her "off time" Lou enjoys spending time with her son Adam on the beaches or in the creeks of Pawleys Island.
