Wit's End is a great place to stay

We've stayed on the island eight summers and Wit's End is one of the best: a cozy house with everything we needed to have an incredible week. I highly recommend this house!

Very relaxing and an ideal place for us

We had inspected the house in april and found it an ideal fit for our purposes. I might add the aC was very good. My wife especially enjoyed the screen porches, creek side and seaside. It was what we expected at Pawley's and we are booked for the same week in 2011.

This house is an old time rustic Pawley's vacation special. I took my 84 old Mother who was recovering on some health issues and it was perfect being on one level.She loved being able to go sit on the screened porches ..one oceanside..one creek side. This house would also be perfect for families with small children...beach is right there! Although no dishwasher, the other amenities are very adequate...just simple and easy to keep ! We loved it. Barbara

A great house for a small family.

We had a great week at the beach. The Lachiocotte company was very easy to work with - much easier than the company we worked with at the Outer Banks. The location of the house was great - right on the ocean and the creek in back. A great size for a family of four. It had the basics that one needs, except for no dishwasher and we did miss not having internet access. It reminded me of my childhood visits to Pawleys - a very simple home on a beautiful beach. It is a little rough on the edges in terms of how clean it is, but not so much so as to take away from our experience. Overall we were very happy with the house and would stay in it again.

The location of this little house is one of my favorites at Pawleys. It is tucked into the dunes which makes up for the lack of a dishwasher and having a small bath. Wonderful place to enjoy Pawleys!
