Thank you for the opportunity to express our appreciation of our wonderful winter getaway,this was our second year at "Wildlife" we stayed for 5 wks& we loved every minute- now I'm back at home near Chicago & really missing looking out at the ocean.The weather was nice & the house is just perfect for us & really loved all the improvements from last year. We used the new dock a lot this year,last year maybe once.We plan on returning next year,looking forward to coming back :)

The Getaway

This is the perfect spot for our getaway. Good fishing, pretty beach. excellent location to everything we enjoy.. Been a hard few months at work for my wife and I and our friends were in the same boat.. The Wildlife House at Pawley's is the answer for us. This is our third year here and it becomes more enjoyable each year. Hard to beat the comfort, value and location.. Will be back next year.

This was the perfect beach getaway. The house sits between two jetties, which provided an amazing amount of privacy and freedom. We have younger children, so it was easy to have natural boundaries for them. Literally just steps to the beach. The hammock on the porch was a hot commodity, and the deck was perfect for star gazing and searching for shooting stars! We used the linen service for a minimal fee. The house will be our family vacation spot for years to come... Just felt like home.

What a location

We just came back from a fantastic week at Wildlife - the location of this home is incredible and the ocean comes right up to the back porch at high tide. The only complaint I got from our group is that the beds are pretty rough and that the showers did not drain well. We are going to look for a different house this year due to the bed situation. If the owner would commit to an investment in updated mattresses, I think this home would get a lot more return visitors . . . including our family.

Love the pre-Hugo style

We have been coming to "Heaven on Earth" Pawley's since the 60's, and always stay at the South End. Love having the inlet (creek) in back and the ocean in front .... the best of both worlds. "Wildlife" is definitely a favorite. We prefer this old beach house style of pre-Hugo days; bare floors, comfy beds, screened porches, lazy ceiling fans --- all mean we're back at Pawley's. "Wildlife's" modern and well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and TV and phones were things we didn't have or expect in the 60's, but oh, what appreciated and expected gifts they are nowadays! "Wildlife" has it all ... the comfort and the ambience. And best of all, the surf only a few steps away! We've already reserved our two weeks next Spring!

Great Spot For Fishing, Shelling

We absolutely loved the house. The layout is great. The convienence to the creek and ocean cannot be beat.We fish the surf continuously. We are at Pawleys for two weeks each year and were staying at another house. All that has changed now because " The Wildlife" is the best house on the beach for us. Thank You all at Latchecotte Realty for providing such outstanding homes to be rented to vacationers like my wife and I.

Wildlife was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The house is perfect for a beach vacation......very open, breezy & easy. I love this house and can't really imagine staying in any other place on the beach at Pawley's Island. The bedrooms offer lots of privacy, and the common areas are inviting and very usable and livable. Great front and back porches. Overall, just a perfect vacation spot. I highly recommend this house.....but just not during the weeks I want it!

We love Pawleys. This is a great old house. Very neat, very well laid out. It's a great place for 8-10 people.

This is a great home for families with lots of activity. Plenty of sleeping room & great living space. The sunrise was incredible and for those of us who had patience, the visit from the dolphins was quite a delight.
