Nights of a Thousand Candles
This annual special event in December brings holiday festivities and cheer to the lowcountry of South Carolina. The Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens never disappoints return visitors and always amazes first time attendees with its multitude of lights from pillar to post, treetop to trellis, pathway to pond. As the lights beckon you throughout the world's largest outdoor sculpture garden, you encounter carolers, stringed instruments and possibly woodwinds. You can easily purchase a lowcountry meal to warm your body as you sit to enjoy story telling and musical performances that warm your soul.
September 1 is when tickets go on sale and are available to be purchased online.
