Blessing of the Inlet
The Blessing of the Inlet occurs every year on the first Saturday in May in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina just a few minutes' drive north of Pawleys Island, South Carolina at the Belin Memorial United Methodist Church located on Highway 17 business.
The event is held in the spring and usually starts around 9 am and lasts until around 4 pm. The day includes singing from various local groups and the actual Blessing takes place around 11:30 am.
Participants present arts and crafts, children's events, and food from local restaurants. There is no admission fee and the celebration occurs rain or shine.
