Gabe Timpano is a veteran multi-million dollar producer with The Lachicotte Company. He began his real estate career 32 years ago in New York State and has been with The Lachicotte Company since its inception. He has been a licensed realtor since 1977.

Gabe was born in Italy and came to the United States with his family at the age of 7. His family settled in Schenectady, NY. After graduation in 1942 from Mount Pleasant High School, he joined the United States Army, serving from Normandy to Germany during World War II.
After Timpano was honorably discharged in 1945, he attended Union College in Schenectady where he was graduated in 1949 with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. He also took the courses to become an architect. Next, he worked with IBM for 34 years as a product planner and marketer.
In 1983, Gabe decided to devote his time to G & J Construction, a building corporation he had started earlier. Upon moving to the Grand Strand in 1985, he went to work with Atlantic Builders and then started D & G Construction.
Timpano brought new home construction expertise to enhance his position as realtor with The Lachicotte Company. He has worked specifically with luxury home buying and selling. He seeks to identify quality homes in the area from Murrells Inlet to Pawleys Island for people to relocate, invest in property, or find second residences.


Gabe's most meaningful experiences are his contributions to his community:

• Knights of Columbus: Knight of the Month (5 times), Knight of the Year (2003)
• Lay Director for South Carolina Catholic Cursillo Movement (1999-2002)
• Construction Foreman of St. Cyprian's Outreach Center; Renovation of Soup Kitchen, St. Cyprian, & assist in providing over 500 meals to families at Thanksgiving
• Head of "Angels with Hammers"-weekly assistance to people in need of home repairs
• Speculative Home Sales donated to charity through partnership in "Three Mustard Seeds, LLC"
• Supporter of Special Olympics and Friends of Vincent
